New to kirupa.com. "Lagartija" had me check out Kirupaville. That's some pretty sweet action. I've tried out some tutorials on pixel art and have a submission for the 'ville. Let me know what you think.

This is my first fully completed attempt. As I said before, I did some of the tutorials (cubes, pyramids, etc) and then started practicing by attempting to recreate the building that I live in, but never really finished. So no, this is not my FIRST attempt, but it's my first finished attempt.

I am glad that I am not the only one that thinks it is good. If anyone has any ideas I could use to improve my next project or that would maybe make this one look better feel free to let me know.

b9n00b- No we haven't. When we submitted a couple of weeks ago the lot population was at 52 and it still is as far as I can see. From what I understand, they're working on some upgrades to the city other than just adding residents right now. They're trying to work out putting rollovers on the lots. As far as I know, when they get that figured out, then they'll continue to add residents.

I made Green Lantern mad the other day for assuming they were done adding residences, so I'm certainly not going to ask again. haha!

Really, I think they're working on it as best they can, and trying to make it better than what it is before moving on to adding more folks. Let us know if you know differently.

Hopefully they have a good inventory list of those lots that have been done awhile but still need adding in. I know quite a few folks who are also waiting to see their work show in the 'ville!

yeah, well after they explained to me what they were up to, I certainly don't mind the wait. It'll be a better Kirupaville in the end!

yep, futurama. I think that the tower is a differant style pixel art, and it will give all the casual lookers a differant point of view. So they will see more than the classic style and see at least one other interpritation of that bad mother :gm:
