New Sexy Girl Vector - Comments/Suggestions

Hey Guys and Gals

It's that time again, another drawing for the long running series of club classic nights. Same story as usual, drawing (not traced) in illustrator and placed into photoshop to finish all the bits off. Background is not as it will be on the flyer, this was one i used just for getting everything together. theme is club classics and spring/easter.

Any suggestions for improvement or general comments please.

the face.. is it a straight linear gradient or a mesh? i would suggest adding a little curver around the cheek bones. did this a couple years ago.. takes a crazy gradient mesh for the face..the eyes are also something that you need to take into consideration and the shading around them.. maybe a thinner back, something seems off there.. but really good work

In fact it's Ok. But there's something with her face - the gradient is lined. And of course:

ooo i think i know what was fooling with my eyes.. the hair from the right side of her head is cast over the left side of her chest. This is messing with the perspective. either darken the hair in the back, adjust the size of that part of the hair, or put it on the other side of her chest.

Unfortunatly I don't have the time to spend on fixing all these points. I have to get the flyer setup for print. I have completed the front of the flyer and thought you would all like to see what I was going to do with the drawing.

So here is the final front.

Please keep all your comments and suggestions coming in as this will help with any future work, and I may be able to use this drawing again so I can maybe fix some of the things you have spotted.

The face looks manish and her mouth is like she just drank milk...

I also think there's something manly in her face... It's very sweet though, you're good.

Yea, I suppose she could be a tranny, Ha, got to cater for all sorts nowadays. (I ment to make her look like that, honest!!!!!!) Na, its a timescale thing, I am designing flyers for a club, so if they wanted to pay me more I would spend more time on things like that. If I was doing a drawing for myself then I could spend weeks and weeks fixing bits. Maybe one day I will get some free time to draw one strictly for my own portfolio, but I would probably never finish it!!!

Very, very nice, I like it very much, especially the colour transitions. Keep up the good work, this is great.
Although there are two things in the anatomy that bugger me. First, the neck should be thinner, the line under her chin should be pulled to the right. And her jaw line is too far on the right, which makes her face look wide.
Other than that, everything is top notch, I admire your skills.

Looks pretty good man. The hair on the left side comin over her like that makes it look real awkward, and the nose is kinda off too... could enhance the cheek bones a little more. Also, the breasts are fine... it's all about the butt :P that's where the money's at :D

Yeah I think it's the eyebrows and the cheeks that are throwing the face off.

The Blonde or slightly lighter eybrows didnt seem to work very well. It reality it would have been correct but in this it didnt look it. I couldn't be arsed going in to change the hair, it would have taken too long and I didn't have time for that. You guys got to remember its for a club flyer, and they are only paying me by the hour. If it was for my own portfolio I would have changed a lot.
