Game Development Team Leader (Producer?) Needed

I'm looking for someone to help me create a game.
Before anyone starts asking, this is not a paying offer - it is for volunteers only. But let me explain:




For the last, oh, 5 years or so, I have been trying to write the Design Document for an RPG called Worlds. It has been slow going due to lack of time on my part, but I am finally nearing completion. It is my dream to eventually finish this game, and be able to release it to the world, but that dream seems an imposiblity with only myself to do almost everything - and it was only recently that I realized that I cannot do it alone. While I do need to find other interested people to do coding, artwork, etc, I feel that first, I need to find a leader - someone who can handle working on this project on their own, for the most part, and people to lead any other people who may join the project.

This person would most likely be Producer, and I would remain, just above, at the top of the pyramid as Designer/Creator. Essentially, if I would say to the Producer: "I think we need to have a larger map for this area...", or "We should add this section to our Website", or "Lets find some people to do voices", the Producer would be the one to make it happen. They wouldn't nessecarily do it themselves, but they would get in touch with whomever does that part, and give them all the details, and check up periodically to keep an eye on things, and then come back to me with a finished result. Of course, I intend to make things more open - there would probably be a large discussion between everyone involved on how something's going to look, or whatnot, but in the end, the producer would be responsible for getting results.

What I'm looking for is someone who has decent organizational skills, good people skills, and an eye for details.

Now, when I said it was a volunteer position, I did mean that, but when this game is finished, and people start to buy it, everyone participating on the team will be entitled to a percentage of the profits.

Well, I remember a group called GDC that began something like this. I offered help and wound up losing my internet and becoming extreamly busy. When I returned, There was nothing left to view of this group. Morale low, I decided to move on with single projects again. I felt that I had not done my part to keep that going and did not get the chance to even help. Because of this, I offer my help in this project to its fullest. Whatever you have that I can help with I will happily do. As for what you said before,

Ok, I have registered at the site. By the way SeiferTim, I have read the whole document and I haveto say, its impressive. But my favorite part is,

"Marco A roman slave, Marco is forced to either fight, or die in the gladiatorial games. Normally gentle at heart, he wishes to be free of his bloody fate, but he is forced to keep fighting, due to his popularity."

Now thats a character. Roman characters are my favorite.:smirk:

Well, I'm glad to hear that! I was seriously contemplating dropping him from the storyline! But I think I'll keep him around a little longer ;)

Glad to hear it. The thought of dropping a roman character is terrible.:worried: This character even got me hyped up enough to start drawing a roman character. Though I am stalled for the moment on his arm layout. I have some done.:smirk:

Btw... One of the most majestic dragons out there was Bahamut which was a Platinum Dragon. Not to be confused with the Silver Dragons... Which are smaller in nature. The platinum dragons are some of the smartest and tend to have esp abilities along with extreme intelligence and strength.

We have some GREAT team members now, but a lot of us are trying to do to many things at once... anyone who likes programming, or video games, and has some talent - PLEASE send me a message, and let us know! :) We need some web developers, and graphic designers right now more than anything, but I think many of us could benefit from some all-around help :D

Several of the team members are from non-english speaking countries... as long as you can speak some english you should be alright... can you send me a sample of anything you've worked on before?

Okay good .. Well i havnt worked on so much there is my game i made a long time ago ( www.frip.dk/ffgames/MR.html ) but that isnt so good .. I am currently working on a game called The Maze II and is 90 % done i could give you a sneak peak if you want .. Thats about everything .. Except for some little experiments im always making
