can anyone tell me which sound editting program that is easy to use ?? Thanks

Im fond of Goldwave (www.goldwave.com) and its pretty easy, just have to play with it. =)

also i hear good things about coolEdit but have no idea how it is =)

Even i use goldwave, it's very easy to use and understand.
There is cool edit pro as ray pointed out, then Mmm...
fruit loops is another good one, sound forge, best thing is to go on to http://download.com.com/3150-2170-0.html?tag=dir

If you are going to use Sound foarge get Acid Pro 4.0 . This is a much easyer to use app.

Sound forge and acid are used for different things.
Acid is a loop construction program, and I agree it's usefull,
but it's not an audio editor. Sound Forge is capable of things acid
doesn't even get to.

i personnaly recommand soundforge, and I think fruity loops is not an editing prog, rather a mixer of sound loops - still nifty though...
