NOTE: You may have noticed i posted a site already named IMD but this is my good frind who has given me the space to host the site. He asked me to pass a message on to you to ask for feedback.

Hey guys,
just wanted a site check on http://www.chaotic-art.com. This was my first site to test my CSS/Accessibility/Web standards compliance, so I kept the design simple. All feedback is welcome, and yea I realise I dont have flash, and this is a flash site. But hey, can ya cut me some slack.

The color on the header doesnt fit on the page (I think)

The whole font thing is for accessibility, for those hard of sight, its a whole web standards thing! As for the image, i can see what you mean, though i want the banner to be a part of one of my images and that one seemed to fit best. I'll keep experimenting tho...

looks good, very "Accessibile" like you said, one thing i would change tho, the shadow around the edges looks to heavy, thin it down, maybe just opacity, and maybe make it just black shadow not blue

ya the shadow is a little heavy, I love your fractal gallery, some really nice work in there!

Hey, thanks! Yea accessible is definitely a must, i've toned down the shadow by another 25%, tho I'm not sure if i like it. Tho to be fair i prefer blue to black, i tried black and i didnt like it :(

I like the design. As stated you are a economics major... this site fits you well. Very clean and I like the layout of your information also. If all you have to worry about is the drop shadow you are doing well.

The point of the site is kinda explained in the main page, if you dont want to read that then the point is for me to learn PHP/MySQL, for me to display my art: Portfolio -> Fractal ( if you're interested ) and for a general airing my views on whatever i want to :)

True that you designed it, but i fixed both your html and your css ;) And it also follows a traditional CSS design, more importantly tho it has PINK rollovers! ROFLMAO

Looks really good - I think you've achieved what you've set out to achieve. I think the fractal art is great too.

thats great! seem to be getting generally positive feedback, except for kipper who's just like that anyway, always picking on me :(

heh, i'm quite proud of my art although i recently looked at in on a CRT and its nowhere near as good on that as on LCD, which is a problem because i design them and do them on an LCD screen. The detail just isnt there on a crt!
