I have an interesting question. How can you make it so that when you try to open certain programs, you can't run it with out the thumb drive being ppresent?

yeah, well... you're talking about those hardware key things that some programs require to run... right? they use it like a serial number. so yeah, i guess you do need it to be in, since that's the whole point of it. haven't actually come across an app like that myself ...besides Ultimatte...

if your trying to make it so people can't open it without the usb key present
in the coding, make it so that the plugin files, etc. are accessed from the drive.... although it is pretty hard because on different computers it would be a different drive, some people have more drives then others, it is usually E or F
otherwise they can copy the files to harddrive

What I'm saying is. Is there a way to do that, and if yes, where can I find how to do that.
