geez, what's up with people lately, everybody wants the best layout, the best design, but they're not willing to pay for it
Had the same example at RentACoder. The client wanted a photography-based site like Rainer Behrens (http://www.rainerbehrens.com) by group94 for 60$.

You want an easily updated, dynamically loaded, streaming video system with cameras based all over the place feeding one website and your budget is 300EU?!
That project, especially with a good design is going to cost, as you put it, "a mountain of money". It could be anywhere from 1000EU to 10000EU+.
Also the design will be the cheapest part. The actual development of the site is what will make it so expensive. I'd say you need to rethink this.

Ever heard of getting a unique funtionality requiring 3-4 months of intense development and testing costing 300 EU. Be serious dude. Or forget the live video part.

Really guys, this is also supposed to be a professional area. If you dont like the offer then dont go for it. I also feel the same as you guys. But it looks bad to potential "real" offers when threads turn into this kind of negative feedback. I am going to see what we can do to curb some of these absurd requests. But lets still keep it professional guys. Also if you would not mind. Those of you who have posted comments that are really opinionated please go back in and delete or edit your posts.
Thanks

Even if someone does it with a template, they need skillls to edit the flash and photoshop files, needs to know HTML and since you want it to be dynamic they need to know some server based programming language.
I would suggest YOU try doing your site from a template see what you come up with, save your $100 bucks, and show everybody your site.
If you want to pay 100 dollars for a site, you will get it, but it will be a crappy site. You get what you pay for!
They think us designers do a site a day or what? man! this is frustrating! :hr:
Oh! and if you want "professional" replies, please do a "professional" offer.
