What adjustments using the R, G and B values with the advanced color settings in Flash MX are done to the image on the left to get the effect on the right?

I tried setting R,G,B all to about 100 which brightens the image but it's still not it. I assume the exact effect can be done with the advanced color settings, would anyone know the values?

Thanks

The effect is done onRollOver with the thumbnails here:

When you say MX do you mean Fireworks or Flash? I am not totally understanding what you are after.

i think he is refering to advance effect in flash on graphics and movieclips, in regards to the question, i wouldnt know the exact numbers its a matter of playing around with it.

Cheers Soulty. I can't seem to get the same effect so I'm wondering is there something else... But I do know from the site, imagevue that the effect is achieved with AS.

if its a actionscript question then i would post the question in the actionscript thread wth the example link, it does look like a advanced effect was used, probably the same attributes used in actionscript to automate the animation process. in any case, if you want me to move this to the actionscipt thread i will.. otherwise

Actually, I was just messing around with the original image in photoshop and learnt how to create the product(Right Image) using curves. Can curves be translated into RGB values, thus being able to create the effect in Flash/AS? I still think it has to be done with Flash because I really doubt that two separate thumbnails are loaded, then merged in the application Imagevue.

Also, one of the features of Imagevue is that it automatically creates thumbnails on the server. Therefore, flash does the job or an .acv curve file is applied to a duplicated thumb then merged in Flash. Can that even be done on a server?

well i dont think curves (photoshop) can be translated into flash.. and im not sure about the rgb translation, i guess you can try and see. i know the effect can be achieved using advanced because i have done it before, just play around with it.

Thanks for your thoughts on the matter anyway.

Its a shine/contrast effect achieved by setting the primary color values
PAST 100% which is a percieved maximum in the Flash interface. You can
simply enter 200%(or higher) directly in the input field.

ah forgot about this thread, i was going to show you a working example, yeah those ratios in advanced can go above 100%, so did you achieve the effect now?

I did, I actually never knew any % above 100 would have an effect. Cheers
