Do you have special someone? I'm going on 13 feb with a good chick to brussle quite a trip because it's a 2 hours drive from here. It's going to be awesome. 14 febuary won't be so special it's a day I have to work on so little time for fun and games.

I know valentnesday is a bunch of commercial crap and that we are all sukkers to jump right into the hipe. But i just love having another excuse to be with some one special and have a great time.

I'm going to my school's Winter Formal with my girlfriend this weekend. It should be fun, I rented a tux, it'll be my first time going to a formal dance (Homecoming etc weren't really formal). Yeah T-O, I'll take every chance I can get to hang out with her :D

Tonight we're having a 24 "party" :P

I'm working all weekend and on the 14th as well, so on the 11th my partner and I are doing a candle-lit dinner at home. It's nice and romantic, without buying into the commercial-holism that is Valentines Day.

i've been to loads of formal parties. I never really liked them and a tux is just awefull I hate putting it on.. but love taking it off after a day walking around in it.

We both have to work and had school in the night, maybe just hang out in the night and eat something :)

Heeeey now, you can't post that and not fess up the story! Give us the goods man! If it's a sad story you'll at least get your kirupa family to toss some chocolates your way! :D

Myself I'm not a huge fan of Hallmark Holidays (what many in the U.S. call the commercially motivated days) unless we get work off, which we don't in this case. For my guy it's any excuse to eat a special sugar product so I"m sure some Valentine's Day related crap will end up at the house from his mom "for the kids" (he's got 2) and he'll eat it all. :sure:

i have this planned out...

im going to tie a heart shaped ballon on her car mirror, and put enough string on it so it waves around near her window, then on her front seat im putting a red rose and a teddy bear.

Hopefully it works well =)

Isn't the first idea a driving hazard?

And as for idea #2, 'tis very cliche but romantic in a way... just make sure she doesn't sit on it!

Also how will you get in her car without her knowing?

Alex
February 7th, 2005, 11:28 PM
she keeps her doors unlocked, plus, she wont be driving it because ill prob go early in the morning to do it.

Well i wont be doing any thing Feb 14th, which totally sucks [!] -- I dont have a chick I like or one to have fun with on the day. So for now ill just have to get a box of chocolates for my wrist :sigh: -- My last chick was new years eve, and she ditched me about 2 weeks after, :td: :m: :crying: :crying:

i'm having a non-lover date with a female (just thought i'd mention before you get any strange thoughts ;)) friend of mine, first to the movies, and after that we probably will be hitting a bar, cause after all, what's a better way to celebrate crappy valentine than being wasted with the person that has the exact same opinion about valentine like yourself

Be careful with that one. Women are tricky with that stuff... they pull the 'oh we won't get eachother anything' line and next thing you know the day comes, you got nothing and shes got a little something for you. Then you feel like a total idiot and feel all bad that you didn't get anything, but she will tell you not to feel bad because she told you not to get anything... when really in her head she is thinking about how mad she is you didn't see past her little game and actually get her something.

But on the other hand, if you think it's a game and she ends up not getting anything and you get her something, then you feel screwed anyway because even if you don't care if she got you anything you don't want to make her feel bad for not getting her anything so it leaves you in a predicament.

Women are so friggin confusing. :ponder:

That's funny, that's exactly what my GUY does to me every year. :P Which is why I freakin' hate hallmark holidays. :m:

lostinbeta
February 8th, 2005, 05:34 PM
Yes, guys do do it, but in most cases that I have seen, guys really don't want anything in return (well aside from sex probably... men are slutty). Where in the most cases with girls that I have seen, they talk crap about it afterwards... which is pretty messed up.

You could just get her some chocolates or something like that, and if she drops a present on you, you have one ready for her - if not, there all for you! :)

mine sucked... i liked elementary school when you would get candy regardless rather then waiting for a girl to seek you out and start making out with you

lostinbeta
February 14th, 2005, 05:28 PM
LOL, I didn't get candy reguardless in elementary school! I was lucky to even get a card. Teachers used to make it kind of like a homework requirement to get valentines day cards for the entire class so that everyone got a card from everyone else.

I was lucky to get 2 or 3 out of a class of 25...haha.
