nice concept but i think u need to work more on the interface...lot more actual

* Gradient is no more in fashion (not like u used it anyway)
* have u just scanned the map pic..it looks untidy
* Needs more life really...

get back on it =)

Here's my view on it:

1- Do you really need the cursor change?
2- The map quality doesn't fit your page. Sharper? re-draw it in a futuristic way?
3- Each of those little images have a white border. You don't see it while they're on the map, but you do against the grey background.

Overall, I had no idea what to do when I got there. I agree with Jas, you should develop your navigation a lot more. Gluck! :beam:

cursor looks a bit kiddish in my view...like picked from some flashkit movie..i also dont understand those roundish things..it should be clean..just not getting tht feel lookin at it and as exorxist also pointed out..i am not happy with the map..redraw and sharp, crisp image will look much better.

this is what i am talking about..if i were u..i'd work a lot on the map first
maybe a pixel map or something lik that..and only then think of an interface.

I agree. You need to make the user know as soon as they get to your site what to do - where to click, etc. I think those little round things get in the way and are distracting. I think your first step in re-designing should be to pick a theme. ie. - future, or pixel, or whatever. Then create graphics and animations accordingly. Gluck! :beer:

I had no idea what to do when I got there. I thought it wasnt finished and didn't have a nav. Then after reading these posts I went back and found it. .... what are those little spike balls??? I can't find anything that I can do with them, or anything they do... they just float around. I would take those out compleatly.

Also I would change the map, I don't see why it can't be changed if it has the same information on it.

Also the fnt on the top dosent look to good. Loose the bevel.

Other than that, I agree with the above comments.

Cheers!

yeah, lose the spikey balls and, find a way to clean up the map. It just looks a bit blurry as a whole. One of the the great things about flash is that its vector based and incredibly sharp, it looks like you have take a really small jpeg and resized it and lost the resolution. I also don't understand the logo choice for the fine arts fair. When I think of fine arts, a futuristic ball with spikes doesn't come to mind. Pick something more classical, refined.
