if you want the ultimate adventure and thrill you can always try a border of
two not so frendly neighbouring countries....

I once took a greyhound bus across Canada. From BC to Newbrunswick.

Talk about space-madness..

or you could jump out of a perfectly good airplane, making sure you have a parachute and full combat gear, over the border between two not so freindly country that also happen to be starving to death, with a can of spaghetti and try surviving the night. if the border patrols don't get you the starving people will for that can ;)

I recommend opium in the mountains... it's close and fantastic...

or maybe Goa?

How much money/time do you have?

I've always wanted to go to Benares and watch the funeral pires at night... I hear that city is electric... though if you're into patying it might be harder there...

Thailand is fun and cheap (though not as cheap as India, except maybe Phuket, now)

oooh you said adventurous... ok travel the silk road to Instanbul!

or cave diving in the Adaman Islands...

ok I'm out of ideas for now...

promise...

Trek in the sahara desert for 2 weeks.
Sand and rocks, 20 000 year old stone carvings, arrow points that date from back then too, a sky full of stars (when you live in a city as polluted as Paris, it's a change...) at night. Very fun.

Safari in the Kruger National Park (well, actually, it was a reservation called Timbawati). Hippos, lions, Elephants, buffalos, Birds, Springboks and antilopes, Giraffes, etc. Very fun too.

climb a mountain, if you get bored while you up there go search for a yetti(sp?), let me know what you find;)

seriously though, about 4 years ago i climbed a mountain here in the US and it was great, very dangerous and point and something you will always remember.

well there are no mountains where we live but I had gone to ooty once.... Being small like I was 14 or 15 .... I took my cousins 9 , 8 maybe and we started to go the top of the mountain.... and about half way to the top, we all got scared and came back i think it took us about half a day to go up and come back.... but it was fun
