Have any of you guys (or gals) seen the about screen in Macromedia's Central? It's animated, and looks really cool. Does anyone know what program created this effect? I added a screenshot, if it'll help.

I haven't used it, but I hear that aftereffects does this kind of stuff.

Thanks

Well, I can't see the animation in the screenshot, screenies are only single frames...

I can't really ses Macromedia using Adobe products to create their own. But maybe. Email Macromedia and ask them.

Well if you kinda wish to have water like lighting effects I recommend making the frames using the free app caustic generator: http://www.lysator.liu.se/~kand/caustics/

else I recommend these tuts on creativecow: http://www.creativecow.net/show.php?forumid=2&page=/articles/bassett_doug/graphic_bed/index.html (needs a specific plug-in) or http://www.creativecow.net/show.php?forumid=2&page=/articles/oneil_bill/vector_paint/index.html (really sweet effects and I think AE normal bundle suffices)

Or I'm sure you can get some inspiration/tips from ayato mind-blowing animations: http://www.ayatoweb.com/ae_tips_e.html

cheers

ps (most of these are covered in ae-related threads on the forum, be sure to search for them !)
