Good but as you say it is really childish

I don't like it, you should start with putting some shading in it, that might improve it looads. And the grass like things cant grow there, there's no earth to grow in and I don't think the will grow on the K-ville sidewalks :D. Work a bit more on it and it will improve.

thats way too big for a house in kville. that house is like the size of some of the office building, way off scale. size it down and give it a front lawn or something.

Not bad for your first attempt, but you do have some work to do.
-It's kind of flat first of all. give it some depth.
-It's off scale, make it smaller. This also allows for more detail.
-Get the woman out of the window.

I changed the tree (more pixel look) and removed those extra pixels (I think that's what you meant by dirt?)

Your new house looks really nice onsitus! The tree on the left really detracts from the pixel look though :kommie:

I done the tree last, I tried to mix as many color as I could. Is it too much?

Just a question, did you manually add the dirt or is it because you save it as a GIF in paint. It looks nice.. but I'm afraid you saved it wrong, this unfortunately is a sad thing cuz you probably cant revert it...

I'm using fireworks and saved it as a ping...everything in on different layers so i can change whatever is needed

There maybe too many colors for the tree. Try reducing the number of colors to only 3 or 4 for the tree. Right now it looks like a bitmap image of a tree that has been used to wrap around the pixel tree.

i dont like the tree, it looks like a smudge of mud. everything else is nice but you need to shade a little better to show the depth and angles.

A smudge of mud??? Well, that's not really nice is it? :stunned: Shall I make it greener?
I will try more shade though.

It should surely be greener

Greener it is and also tried more shadow (although I'm not really good at it).

Anything to please you SlowRoasted...no more grey in the tree.
Can you explain the bad colour screen Eserbak? Thank you.
Any more advice are welcome although I'm sure there will always be something wrong with it for someone.:sigh:

much better, I don't like the gray that's in the bushes either, dunno exactly what you're trying to do there. It's become very nice though! Maybe work a bit on the windows, the color is a little to bright imo.
Good work.

well onsitus, if I were you I would probably change the color of the house to not be so contrasting, to a lightish color possibly. And also the roof, I would make it a grey and black shingle type roof, unless you want to go mexican style and make it like a clay roof with perhaps adobe walls. Now it kinda doesnt seem right, the colors of the house I mean.
//edit: One more thing I would suggest. Add a darker and possibly lighter color to the hedges, for more depth.
//edit: Also, the windows need depth, add a trim or something around them, and the flower things by the windows, make the flowers bigger, but fewwer flowers.

I still don't like the tree onsitus! Have you considered removing it and placing something else there?
