Well it’s not bad, but it's not a step up from what they have. It looks okay but it doesn't really strike me...you might want to try something less corporate looking, and more music oriented.

I think mainly the color scheme? Mabye corporate was the wrong word but it doesn't look like a band's website, to me. Their band name with the transparent letters over the diagional lines looks a little wierd. It just looks rushed.

im afraid i think its a step backwards from what they have now... your layout is all over the place... it feels very blocky and disjointed.. the content window shouldnt overlap the header

nothing like a bands website... my advice would be to start from scratch having checked out the official web sites of similar bands

I agree that it doesn't really look like a band site. Is that empty space on the right going to have some pictures or anything? I would suggest maybe doing a random slideslow of pictures in that space. What style of music is it? I wouldn't say it's a bad start, just needs some spicing up :thumb:

well it is just a comp and the large space on the right is going to be flash and its kind of top secret... so just know that’s going to be amazing and that’s where all the content is going ... its punk, progressive hardcore ... its my boyfriend band who’s also a designer (http://morganknutson.com) and did the site they have now ( I do flyers and photography) .... And we where thinking hey its time for a re-design so i comped something up
