TRy using notepad :P It is totally awesome :Di actually use notepad for all my html and css. i've never tried using the design side of dreamweaver, only the code side (which is pretty good for php b/c of the color coding).

Bah, notepad. I use skedit (http://skti.org), its like dreamweaver without bloatyness and without design view. Its awesome. Auto completion for css, html, and function tool tips for PHP. FTP, SFTP, and webdave support. HTML entities converter, site panel. Its the BEST! :?)

I believe if you cannot code in DW then you cannot code anywhere. HTML code is HTML code. DW has nothing to do with bad code. It even has code hints and points out bad code.

Maybe you should learn some hand coding then because you are always going to have problems with the design view in dreamweaver :(
