round text

hello there

i have a roud object and want to have a text which goes round that object. like a texture over it. like in this picture. i want the signs completely round that object...
is there a faster way than placing it piece by piece?

ok ive made it, it was not as hard as i thought....

but who to grave the stuff in to make it look as it was engraved

das cool, did you find a shortcut or have to place them individually?

well ive plced one and placed one parallely to it and grouped it, then copy, paste and now move it 22,5° up or down
