Get Netlimiter to keep track of how much you downloaded. Hours etc, maybe a FF extension?

For browsing time you could try this Firefox extension:

or get a time / kilobytes billed connection like me.... the provider then has to give you a list of your billable time or data....

mine does that....

A time/KB billed connection? I have never heard of such a thing.

So how much is per hour or kilobyte?

here in india almost every connection is billed by number of hours or by the kilobytes downloaded + uploaded....

some unlimited plans are also there but not easily available / cheap.

my connection is like
900 rs for 500 mb
