Well my new cd is coming out called "FIRE POWER"
and since i love kirupa.com so much I am going to let you make the cover. the best cover well be used as the front cover.
those who atlest try will have there Name and web site link inside the booklet. The 2nd and 3rd place well also have there cover as a page in the booklet:)
The cd well have around 71 min of music at 19 tracks
dearing the making of the cd I was ganna put a picture of mario spitting fire but thats to lame. but then i had the idea of the kirupa kids doing it. so have fun and dont get freaked out over it. the styles of design that whould be best are
Pixel or Vector
the Design Items that you can do are the Cd it self or the cover design.

As long as I can put the cover in my portfolio I don't need a reward. Actually I don't really like the music anyway. :P

http://www.versusmediagroup.com/firePower.jpgHere is my idea for a cover...
Remember to leave room for bleed, if you are designing a cover set the image size to 5in x 5in and make a .25in boarder around the entire image. That way when it goes to print it will bleed off the page and look nice.
mmhh first of all I wouldn't use a jpg that was posted on a forum for printwork =)

I really like MLK's job - the back and yellow colours are great and the picture of the bombs make the 'firepower' part stand out - :D

Hehe, I was Flash Gordon. I changed my name. Look at my user title.
Idoik are you still taking entries for the front cover or just the back and inside covers?

Well, to my mind, Paddy Duke's cover is the best among the submitted covers. Thou, I don't like it fully.

Erm.. let me see. I don't like the idea of using the gun. Is it somehow connected with music or what then? "Firepower"? Oh, well. That's a philosophic question. Also, it doen't look good, because of the size of the gun. It almost covers the whole area. And one more, I think it(cover) lacks something. TOO minimalistic, imho. That's it. But idoik likes it. So, I'm not the one, who chooses.
