Timer And High-Score ..

I'm making a timer to my game and if i want a high-score should i have a high-score board for every level or should i have something to count togheter all times on all maps then send it to a high-score? can please any one help me:|

I guess it all depends on how this game works.

If the user plays through all the maps and that is considered 1 game, then I would say add them all up and call that the high schore.

If the user picks which map he/she plays and that is considered 1 game, then I would say have a high score board for each map.

The user starts at map 1 and plays to map 14 if he/she doesent die in any map then when he/she have played the whole game it should count as one game but how do i do that high-score.. and the timer for that sake too

Sounds like this should be a game that has a score instead of a time.

Maybe this will work:
Find out what a good "average" time is for each map. For each second that the user finishes the map under the average time, count that as a point. When they die or finish all of the maps total up all the points.

I cant find out the average time becouse i cannot even make a timer :( And i need help with

1-High Score
2-Timer
3-Find out Average time
