Help me develop this site idea

I am working on a new site. I have most of the code done, but now I am trying to look for interesting design ideas. I recently found www.makingfiends.com and first of all thought it was really funny stuff, but also really liked the style. My question is have you ever seen asite that looks like it has been made out of construction paper? If so tell me and if not tell me if it is a kinda interesting concept.

you mean like a hand drawn site, i ve seen that. as long as it suits the content and looks visually pleasing then i dont see any harm in that style. Its really all depends on your content.

I don't like sites like that, because they come across as unprofessional and poorly designed.

However, soulty is right, it does depend on the content.

well i am an artist and this new site will really just be for my art. Originally it was going to be very flat, no photoshop, but i am having second thoughts...
