Screwed up my colours (Photoshop)

How do I get my colours back?

All I can seem to get is greyscale :(

Probably a really simple answer please help !

Iv had this happen to me once before - once youv got a canvas open, goto 'Image' (on the top menu bar, File - Edit - Image) then in the dropdown menu goto 'mode' and choose RGB Colour or CMYK colour dpending on what your working with, most likely RGB

that also happened when i used ps on my second monitor before - everything turned B&W (just in PS, not anything else) O.o

is it grey scale as your working or when you start a new document, if its during a document it might be that you selected a channel in the channel pallette and now in result you see the greyscale value of that channel, if this is the case , then go to your channel pallette and click on the top layer (either CMYK or RGB).
