I've put up some rough cut previews of some new music I'm working on:

2 songs there...
The meat of the piece is there, but mastering levels and composition hasn't been done yet.

The second one has potential, run the first through a couple of compressors and see what happens it should pull it all together better, and try puting the base rift through a low pass filter or 2 to give it a bit of life, T-Racks is some good pc compression software you should check that out.

the first didn't seem to be on beat... if it was... there is a contrast between the voice and the music that cuts the song up... the second one seemed too quiet
but a good start... i like the first cept for what i said

Thanks for the replies.
Yeah the first one needs arrangement - the sounds are in place, but I haven't run any filters on anything yet... It is on beat, but the voice is syncopated towards the end of the song - mainly to just hear the sounds together..and I'm trying to create more samples of that woman's voice...man it's a good voice.
The second one will have another heavier bass eventually. The bridges need the most work - any rate - fun to see where this stuff goes.
I'm using Propellerhead's Reason 2.5 -

rofl you should see how I routed the Vocoder unit...
hopefully posts like these will cause other artists to post up their work as well :)

reason is a great piece of kit to start on...
first one is not to my taste really... altho keep it up with the female vocals and filthy base lines...
you should speed it up and make it drum and bass... it doesnt work at that tempo
second one was cool, chilled... good job chicane meets bt
i want to hear more filthy, dirty, raw, urban, evil base lines!! :D
