Drawing Lines

I wanna draw lines, without using the mousse at all. Straight lines or Sinusoids, it doesn't really matter. I've found a relevant tutorial here:http://www.actionscript-toolbox.com/drawsine.php
but I didn't manage to make it work. Basically didn't fully understand it. Any help?

Is there something in particular that you didn't understand? And did you check the as tricks about the drawing API?
