Here's a skinnable tree that I'll be using for navigation for a CMS that I'm writing. The classes and tut are at my blog site: http://www.smoothhabitat.com/blog/archives/2004/12/tree_navigation.html
That's sweet. Do you plan to make an animated version?

Yeah, I'd like to make it animated. That'd be cool. I think I might work on a spreadsheet class first, then come back to it.
Thanks. Hope you guys can use it!

Really sweet stuff! I added your blog to my "Blogs" folder.
Is it XML driven?

I plan on changing a few things and putting up my own modified version. It wouldn't be anything drastic, but a minor issue that some people may have with it. Would that be OK? I'm guessing it's under GPL?

mdipi: i thought about having a function that would automatically translate from xml, but i didn't get that in this version... maybe next, along with the animation. it wouldn't be very difficult to do though.
SmurfMX: i haven't really specified a license for it yet. so do whatever you want with it. i just kindly ask that you not use it for any military or prison related clients. also no heavy polluters (check www.scorecard.org). i'll be writing a license soonish. :)

Smoothhabitat, I agree, a XML edition wouldnt be hard at all, or from what I am thinking it wouldnt be.
Great stuff :thumb:

No, you should be able to iterate through the xml's children and add children to the navtree as you go.... pretty much like sex.

That sounded very very wrong in retrospect. Please don't think about it too much.
