Hey guys, just wondering...what else can I add to this splash page, i know it's pretty bland right now...give me some inspiration pleassse! lol

i just think the noise is sort of annoying and the coming soon font doesn't really fit in.

Wow that's pretty nice. You could try to make the text "write" itself in, animate it so that it looks like it's being written on there (just without somebody's hand or a pen).

I'd also kill the flickering and sound and try to find another animation to put in place...maybe an alpha "pulse" of some sort, like what you have but gentler.

All in all, really nice!

Ok how's the font now? And the new animation?

Do you get an awful "thud" whenever the sound plays? Just wondering if it's just my speaker setup...?

i think you need to add some ease on your tween for the aarow, and align the body bg to the image bg ( the lines dont match up). forgot to add in i like it the lt. grey and the red go nice , and i like the font as well, btw your you need like 15 more pixels around your image so your not cropping the drop shadow.

I like the style... though I don't like the new text. It looks too 13yr old gamer to me (but thats JMO). I liked that 'scriptina' font you were using before... the contrast between the grunge/tech arrow and elegant script was cool. The only problem was your application of it... it was just kinda slapped in there. I think if you work with that idea you got something cool.

On another note.... have you started designing the site yet? If so don't you think inspiration for the splash should come from the design you have for the site? I don't think you have started with the site.... so I suggest starting with that first. Get a feel for where youre going with the site and apply that to your splash.

Otherwise you might develop a sweet splash, get to the site and go another direction. Then your splash is useless.

Ok, I used way too many words on a pretty simple response, but hey it's late here and when I'm tired I get wordy. ;)

Honestly, I agree with ya. I am going to find another way to apply the scriptina font...

and you're right...i haven't started the site yet...so i guess i better do that eh? lol...

I'll do some work on it later, for now...it's bedtime....Halo 2's been wearing me out ;)
