Hey everyone!
This forum is intended to showcase cool Flash experiments. There are only three guidelines:
You must attach/link to the FLA.
You shouldn't break copyright by posting someone else's files. If the original author of a rare/hard-to-find file can't be found, you may post the FLA provided you give credit to the original creator in the body of your post.
If you are providing Flash-specific code, please mention what version of Flash your files are for either in the title or the body of your post.
If there any other questions, feel to reply here and I'll try to address it :)
Cheers!

I suggest the SWF should be linked too. In that way, it will be easer to view the experiment without download and execute the FLA source (the is also the version problem..).

Kirupa: We're allowed to do combination things, like Flash + PHP, right?

Kirupa: We're allowed to do combination things, like Flash + PHP, right?Sure - it doesn't have to be Flash. It can be any language as long as there is the source file :P

It would be nice if the flash version was written somewhere in the post too...
(I don't have MX2004 at work... )

Kirupa - I was just thinking - it might sound somewhat stupid - but is it really legitimate in terms of copyrights - to use source codes and tutorials to make something New* - or is it even then still an offense towards copyrights. An example - like i need to do a scrollbar for my Site - and because i have no idee how it is done i fetch myself a tutorial from almost anywhere in the internet (like Kirupa.com ). - do I then have to give any credits for that on my Site??? - Not yet seen anyone do that but just wandering:ear: )

My opinion is, if you just follow a tutorial and make it your own, generaly no. But if you use somebody else's source or files, then usually it's the nice thing to give them a mention.
If you don't, most people won't really notice for something as generic as a scrollbar, unless it's obviously looks stolen. Droping a link back to the site you got it from is generaly the right thing to do.

Rookiesmart, there is no need to give credit to a tutorial, its only good to write a source info while posting someone else's FLA files.
Thanks Kirupa for starting this forum... its rocking!!
