I would expand on 5. I like the tuxedo one. But it reminds me of a formal wear store like gingiss or something. 5 makes sense.

I'd say 6 is the best but I'm not really feelin' the kensington font.

I personally think that 6 is the sexiest. You really like the glass effects I've noticed :D

Very simple, strong, clean and would look good as black and white as well...

thanks guys -yeah I think a few font variations might improve some of them, I like no 1 the best but do agree DDD that it looks like a Tux shop. also maybe a Deep wine red might give a nice elite look ( its for a very exclusive, swanky Dry cleaners in a very expensive neighbourhood).. thanks to all for your comments. I will definately use your views to improve the designs :)

I like 6 as well.... also I agree with what DDD said about the tux - infact the same exact store (gingiss) came to mind!

throw #5, in that glass look and I think you have a winner. Except add that king crown as one of the icons....I think that would be pimp :p:

What do the icons in 5 represent? Cause I don't get it... and I even have a wardrobe of pimpin dress clothes

sheeesh youngsters.......those are the fabric care icons....most people who take their clothes to the cleaners will recognize what they are...They are on most clothes tags and washers and dryers.

Adding that crown would be pimped out tho.

I thought exactly the same about number 5 with the crown! But id dump the circle. It's by far the best idea, but i'm not sure it's swanky enough. It's too modern i think to fit. Which is a shame. In which case id go for 7.

from left to right, the first one means normal wash, second one means normal dry, third one means bleach I think, and the last one means iron.

I think thats how it goes... I only know cuz I worked at a dry-cleaners for 6 years in high school.

Its amazing how the responses / opinions differ. Here we have afew options on the same line of communication using only 4 differnt ideas, all puzzled together in different ways. )) And on 2 forums I count the votes even across the whole board! -- very insightful as to; taste, personal preference, and the very differnece ways people interpret communication.

the best thing is that we, as a connected global forum can challenge / evolve every idea that comes out of creative interpretation. Wow ! it blows my mind.

Thank you for all your comments. I will definately read each and every one and flesh out on the things / designs I had allready given up on, and expand on those I had pinned for success.

Looking fwd to playing around with what all of you have said and making "democratic" style logos !

Muchos gracias!

Wow, awesome logo skills you've got - nice work!

I'd consider looking at their target audience primarily. You mentioned that they're in the upper income bracket (expensive neighborhood). What age-group are they? I'm thinking the more vector data approach (like numbers 7 and 8) might be better for a slightly older (say, 40-60) crowd because of their declining eyesight and the fact that they've "grown up" with more vector based stuff than with the glass-button look.

On the other hand, if your TA is younger people between say 25-40, the glass button look like #10 might be the way to go. On #10, I'd try using the font you have in #8 - play with it, might turn out well.

On yet another hand (gee I have a lot of hands don't I?), if you have a mildly retro crowd, #3 is great. The dots are quite reminiscient of the 70's.

One other thing I'd try: take the black and green in #9 and make it just like the iconography in #10 - blue background, white K. That look, combined with the sans-serif fonts, could turn out VERY nicely. Maybe you could throw some greys in there too to give it a more "clean" look and feel?

My personal favorite would be #10 with some different typography on "Kensington" - I don't like the wild west font you have going there (no offense) but the rest of it is KILLER!

Keep up the NICE work!

Loved them all! I think youv done a fantastic job on them - But if i were to choose one only it would have to be number 1, I think it looks really good the way how you have the jacket involved.

im agreeing with simp and ddd so far,

but what if...

you took number 8, and put the "dry cleaners text" kind of smallish on the top right?
like above the "sington" in "kensington"

you could then take the crown above the K make it slightly bigger, and rotate it to the left, ever so slightly... so the K is kind of "wearing" the crown?

Think they are all great, but would go with either # 6, or the idea prstudio had, think that would be awsome..

Just wondering, what program do you use to make such logos? Becaus I need to come up with some logo for my football team :P

Thanks,

I'll be the odd one out, I like #3. There's a retro feel to it. The gel buttony suit logos are cool, but it reminds me too much of formal wear for men. Unless of course the dry cleaner only does men's suits, then go with the formal wear design.

I may be the only one who doesn't like #6. While I think all of your designs are professional and well crafted, #5 has something great about it that screams at me. It has to be the sans serif font, the color, the icons, and the excellent simplicity of it all. If I saw a dry cleaner with that logo, I'd become a customer. #6 looks like a logo for a an old English after dinner drink.

#5 stands alone.
