I have seen a banner, lets say 486x60 with html content all around it. However somehow the flash generates a larger flash animation, that is much larger then that. And it sits on top of all the other content (this part I can figure out), I just can't figure out how to get the small flash have a larger flash come out of it.

I don't think, I'am. Because there is usually some sort of animation from the original banner to the large animation.

Can you give a site where they use that technique?

what you are talking about is an eyeblaster. well that is one of a few.. some work based on rollover of a banner.. (a polite banner its called) and others play automatically, and dont origionate from a banner at all; they just appear over the site. go here and look around.. http://eyeblaster.com/ Unfortunatly, this isnt something you can do without support such as eyeblaster.com.. i have designed these for work, and each need to be loaded into the eyeblaster system.
-glad i could help:)
