There's an evil monkey that lives in my country... :sure:

Dude, I've been there three months and some of you britons do speak with a funny accent. Then again I like it a lot.

What do you mean funny accent? We talk properly, it's everyone else that's weird...

Anyway, I'm in London right now. Still at work, obviously... But right near Oxford Street and the pretty lights. :beam:

I live in Bradford, West Yorkshire - home of race riots :)

just my luck to get stuck here....oh well life continues!

London is nice but the government should start to give other big cities big projects e.g. put the national football stadium in Birmingham so everyone can get there in a reasonable time.

I'll be in London in June. :D I've got a couple friends going to Oxford, and my roommate was born and raised in London, so we'll have a contact. I'll drop a message while I'm there, and maybe I can grab a pint with some fellow kirupians!

Hey there, i was at Oxford steet today, it's not to far from where my hotel is (Leinster Square, wherever that is), or atleast it's where the tubes takes me too :) ..if your a starbuck person, wana have a Kirupa meet, let me know, it's pretty lonely in this huge city, and my feet ache..

AS for what i'm doing here, well my work has finally agreed to my training request :) yey...and i'm taking this Dreamweaver Course at Highlander, so far so good, excellent instructors, they know what they're doing and able to help when needed even if' it's a dumb question :)

I'm having a blast here, but it's extremly pricy. i get my salery in EURO's hahaha so conver that to pounds, and shop anywhere in the city, well that says it all :)

Funny accents? I love the accent, it's soo polite and accurate :) want funny accents, check out Kansas, sorry to you Kansans :azn:

P.S. The Apple store ROCKS!!! new iPod's are wicked, to bad i hurryed and got the 20gig few months back :(

See you all :)

Well basically they've already started looking decentralizing and look what it's done to the beeb, now they're all going to end up with manc accents =)...

The one incredible thing about the uk is the **** good rock scene... I've bought at least 10 albums of incredible rock band since i arrived !!

Of course, if you're a real football fan, you support a club like Gillingham. Grass roots football, that's what it's aaaall about. ;)

Anyway, it's great being English. People think we all live in castles. And we do. We've all got butlers as well don'tcha know?

chelsea fc ROCKS :)

y'all i be back home now. yea that's right, im back i got in last night, it was hell, UK has the worst airport in the WORLD!, it's small coridors, it's dirty carpets, it's display tv
s (all modern airports use large and modern Plasma/LCD screens), it's confusing to get around, looks more like a large bus station that has airplanes...besides that, everything else rocks in London :)

I've seen both heathrow (or whatever is written) and Luton (yesss... ryanair rocks) the last year and they were large, clean, confortable and with large plasma screens over the check-in... The only think that scared me of London was the Complete SILENCE in a overcrowded train on the metro (the tube) ..

btw... take care of the evil monkey

Well i wouldnt say clean nor modern, atleast when i compare it to places like Vancouver, BC, whic is wher im from. It's a shocking difference, but that's not all that important because there a thousand other things London has just a city that most countries dont, like a KICK *** CLUB SCENE! yA! and wicked soccer, not to mention the training where i was at, which was superb, excellent instructor knew what he was talking about, i have pages of extra notes that he just kept adding to make spice things up, that are not in the book, the book we based the training on. So that's my side of it. :)

I would love to go again, SOON! :)
