looks ok for your first time, were you going for that rough stylised look?
if not then your shapes are pretty rough, almost looks like you use a vector trace tool.

Nice for your first try. You should look at www.deviantart.com and search for vector art. Might get some cool inspirations :)

Screw DA... if you want vector go to Illustrator World... www.illustratorworld.com
That's a good start for your first vector. Nice stylized style.
I'm not quite sure why your lines are so rigid... sorta makes me think that it was trace bitmapped.... cause things like the mic and the hair can be better controlled. Straight lines and all.

Good start, Not sure if that was the color scheme you were after, but I think the shading in the face would look better if it were only a few hues lighter or darker than the base color. Also like Simp said about your lineage, thats fine if thats what your after, but you may want to look into learnine about "bezier curves." Once you can grasp their use, your vector art will be lookin smooth and sexy! It'll save you alot of time also.

its better, colour range and detail but it still looks like your using a trace bitmap feature why i say this is because you should be able to control those fine details much better, especially if your using illustrator, zoom in and get those details right. (unless your going for a rough style).
you might just need to improve a little with your pen tool skills, keep going, practice makes perfect.

I think that your vectors are amazing for your first couple of trys. I can really admit that they are better than some of my first ever ones.
