Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater

I was just wondering what you guys think of this game. I just bought it, and might I say, it is superb! Aside from playing Halo2, I always just wanna hop on this. The game play is amazing, videos and story line just make you want to keep playing. If you have PS2, I defiently reccomend getting this game, it's so challenging, and keeps you coming back for more.

Well I dont have a PS2 - but this is one of my all time fav games, the way they have developed the gameplay for it is just awsom, Im looking forward to playing this on my friends PS2, also does anyone know if its set to be released for xbox or is it a PS2 only game.....?

The sons of Liberty Storyline was so Interesting and Cloaked. So many Paradox's all over the place.

I especially liked it when you found out at the end that You were being commanded by a Computer the whole time. Sadly, i never got passed the section when you had to run around naked. :lol: I had to return it the next day. i was so pissed :m:

MGS3 is out??!!

I soooo wanna play that game, it looks awesome, im gettin a PS2 soon (next week hopefully) to play San Andreas, but MGS3 is second on my list :P

ya i got it the game is good, i jsut wish i got to play more often than just watch cinematics :( other than that the gameplay is great but you can sit there 15 mins jsut watching fmv and only play 5 mins or so, i cant wait till i finish this game the story is quite interesting, thats just my only excuse for this game not being fantastic, i hated MGS2 btw i just couldnt get over that punk raiden :P

this is the only reason why i dusted off my ps2 lmao maybe ill check out GTASA as well still waiting for RE4 so i can dust off my crapcube lmao

haha i know what you mean man.... At one point in the beginging, after the story begins, you sit there for 45 watching awsome cinematics... But without them, the story would seem completly confusing.

And another great thing in MGS, is that you can perform surgery on yourself, using medical utensils and supplies. It's so awsome...

But grim, when you do play for those 10 minutes, it takes so long, I mean, the game is so hard, i Love it. I'm doing it on Normal, and it's tough!

i have been a Metal Gear Solid fan since the first one (i know there were older 'metal gear' game but it was the first 'mgs') was released back on the Playstation one. i realy enjoyed sons of liberty even though raiden was lame (but he made snake look cooler). now i have to wait till like march or may (can't remember which one) next year till i get Snake Eater.

Hopefully kanomi will release another game set after sons of liberty, which explains more about the paitriots because SOL left me a little confused. Also does snake eater adress them at all (no spoilers please just a yes or no would be good)

Yep! Many cinematics, but there really good, and the game play definetly covers up for it.


BTW - This game is so cool for another reason. It takes place in real events that have happened in the sixties. It's neat how they use real video clips of the 60's and partial stories.
