I just had a meeting today with a marketing firm in Milwaukee. They normally do marketing plans for small businesses with budgets under 2mil. They used only offer print, but they are getting so big that they want to branch into web. One of the designers was a grad from my college, so she asked around for good web designers. My name was given for some reason unknown to me :block: and I've been designing for them for a couple months.
Well, they've liked my work so much and we've landed some big clients with it, that they want me to become a full time member of their firm and evenutally (when I graduate, 2.5 years from now) become the head of the web development division.
Sweet!

It's trial right now. Not because they want to see how well I'd do, just to see if they make enough money offering web solutions too with the marketing firm.
Doesn't bother me either way though. If it doesn't work out in 6 months, I'll have a portfolio that's a little bigger with additions of the biggest law firm in Wisconsin, a condom brand with a site in coordinance with the youth AIDS foundation, and some...paint...place...thing...
Either way... Gotta start working on my backend knowledge!

I've always wanted to do that... :(
Good luck Kris :)
