load channel

Hi every one,
Could anybody tell me where the "load channel" button is in photoshop 6,
All I can seem to find is the "load selection".

I created a wireframe sphere using channels but to get it onto a layer I need to load the channel and I can't seem to find it anywhere.:bandit:

What I'd do is:

Ctrl+click the channel (loads selection)

then go to the layers, and select the layer you want to apply the selection, then press Alt+backspace to fill the selection.

Then ctrl+D to unload selection...

I was following a tutorial that was for photoshop 7 and all was going well untill it said to drag the "grid channel" onto the "load channel as a section"...!!!

But any way I tried it your way and it worked fine so thanks a lot I've been trying to figure it out all day.:bandit:

There are many ways of achieving stuff in Photoshop.. :)
