I like it. This sectoin of the forums doen't get checked all that often, so sometimes it seems like people are ignoring you...thats not how it is..they will eventually get to you...

Located in Orange, eh? Same here!

In summation, I think your site looks great. I like the artwork - very clean and detailed. The transitions/animations are also refreshing and original. You have my vote for SOTW!

Well, when you click on something, there's a little scroll. That's when the animation isn't smooth. Maybe it's my computer...

Oh! I see what you are talking about. Could be your computer, because I don't get that jerky effect on mine.

Hey 3dSound, this is a cool site :)

I got the jerkiness on tne animations on my comp too, but its not that bad, I have seen much worse lagging on other sites.

thanks, I appreciate....

I have to say this has been a pretty bad day for me, one of those where everything goes wrong... from the time I got up... and got to my pc....so your words kind of keep me from doubting myself completely :P

Sorry but I don't like your site that much, I'm really sorry, it's not because of your site, it's just: .... I HATE 56K MODEMS:*( ...

But else I have to say: quite nice!

I You don't like my site because of your 56k modem?

Didiusthegreat
October 31st, 2002, 03:12 PM
no, no i just mean: it is a bit big for people with 56k modems, that all.

But the site is quit nice, after all!

OH I see! well, the site is 350k.... I tried to keep it as low as possible but didn't want to sacrifice anything over the size.

Thanks for your comments:)

3D: I know what you mean! I didn't want to sacrifice anything either but there is a way around this. I cut up my site into sizable chunks. I would display the main section and content while the rest of the site would be loading in the background.

I agree it is a smart idea. I just don't have the courage to go back and reajust right now.. little burned out with it for now.

I really enjoyed your site by the way, the converter belt is a fun idea!

One more thing, I changed the popup window to a normal one, I just discovered to my horror that my site wasn't working properly on netscape with the popup option!!!

Now it's working perfectly on both browser... So I can go to sleep happy..

Three lessons I learned from this:

1) I will never put a site on a popup window ever again!!!! :o

2) I will Always check if it works on both browser instead of assuming it does, dummy 3dsound!!!

3) I will never surrender to the enemy of compatibility: (netscape and mac, I hate you... I hate you... I....)
