*RANT* Ordering Online - the waiting game

I ordered a Radeon x800XT 256 3 weeks ago, and theys aid they'd have them delivered today! Now I just checked the track&trace on the stores site, and they JUST changed it to 9/11-04 :m:

3 MORE weeks of waiting... *** ***** ** ** *****!!



why can't they just get the date right the first time... this makes 4 times they've changed it... on top of the different dates in T&T, and product-description... talk about lousy service...

Man, it's ALWAYS like that, I ordered DSL on the 17th of Sept., it said 10 days for activation, I got it on monday 18th Oct. !!
Nothing you can do...
and: 9/11 is bad omen, better use 9th Nov :)

Eilose why not just call them up, cancel your order and go to futureshop. If I'm paying someone for a good or service and they don't hold up their end of the bargin I say screw them. You money has power. Why would you give power to a slackarse company?

When I ordered my new PC a few months ago It took almost a month for them to build/ship and get it into my hands. Then just the box came and my LCD display took another two.

I have an old 256 9200 you can use in the interim :love: :lol:

Eilsoe - you are ordering a product that A LOT of people are also ordering. Delays for new graphics cards are common. I had to wait several weeks beyond the time I placed my order in order to receive a GeForce DDR 64 and GeForce 3 about 5 and 3 years ago :P

This is why i DON'T shop online or via mail. it's a pain in the arse to get anythin'

matter of fact i have had somthing like this happen to me. 4 months ago i ordered a Mail-in catalog from a Record Company. i got it 2 MONTHS later.
after that i took the book, Took some lighter fluid, placed it outside in a garbage can. BON FIRE!!!!
