Does anyone else suffer from the same condition as me after having done a load of design work and you subconsiously think in real life that when you make a mistake you'll just hit CTRL+Z to go back a step?!!! I was painting my house the other day and spilled a bit of paint and thought ... CTRL+Z ... doh! If only it was that easy :¬)

I have done both ctrl+z and ctrl+s in real life (or attempted to).
I am ashamed.

Not ctrl-z'ing, but I remember when I was playing Blood (looooong time ago it was) I was using the cheat code to walk through walls. I was playing for 4 hours straight. My boss was sitting in the next room, he banged the wall a couple times (he was calling me into his room).

I get up, turn around and walk right into the wall... :dead:

I've never done the ctrl+z thing, but I have actually said "ROTFL" in a real-life conversation. I wasn't even on the floor, it was so embarrassing. :ne:

A guy at my old school went around saying lol all the time... he knew it, and he couldn't care less... but it was still annoying as hell... :P

i thought about hitting ctrl+z thing a while back -

more recently when something funny happened at work, I almost said "LOL" instead of actually laughing.

Kinda like when you're talking to a hot girl and you stumble over a line or say something incredibly stupid, and you search feverously for CTRL-Z only to realize theres no keyboard nearby. :P

I hate doing that, my brain goes to 100% CPU usage and it starts overheating saying "omg say something witty!!! quick!!!!" and then it freezes.

I'm not sure if I'm reassured or just plain scared that there are so many fellow 'sufferers' out there!! :¬) Perhaps I should set up a support group!

Sometimes I find that in a conversation some one will say "remember when and that happened a couple of months ago" and I will look at them blankly and say" loading file". sad I know, but it happens.
The worst one for me is ctrl C. I sometimes want to do that when I am studying. I slid my finger over the paragraph (to highlight) and wish I could just copy and paste in brain.

Go to the Apple store and get an iBrain loaded with OS 10.3 ;)
No more freezes.

same here, I was learning cartoon animation and so a lot of drawing, every time I use to do a mistake I use to search for ctrl+z or del button, then use to laugh on my self.

I use LOL in real life conversations alot. It's a habit for me now. I wish it wasn't the case. but it's just so addictive!
