OK, so basically me and my friend made a splash for our site. A site that is IN PROGRESS, called Techtronik.net.
We were just wondering if you could give us some constructive criticism, please. So here is the splash,

Change the font... or at least the font on the "Coming Soon" and "enter." :stunned:
I don't really like the colors but that's just me.
Everything else looks okay. :thumb:

the edges of the tubes are really jagged. That bothers me. I also think the colors arent good.

make the circle on top of all the tenticles (except for mabey one?) and have it sold instead of transparent. Also get rid of the huge text on the sides and have a verry small coming soon text.
Remeber in designing, smaller is better :)
Cheers!

u should make the word "enter" appear indented on the button. plus make the tentacles a little wee bit more 3d. people tend to like that affect. change the font.
the font critic might just be me.

i don't like the stuff underneath both lines of text... i think it's the same font as the text but lowercase?
anyway i don't think it adds anything to the design and is essentially just meaningless space-filler.

Yeh, I agree with most of the things said here..
remove the floating text, or add the "Techtronik.net" and "coming soon" above/below the "enter" text on the button. Change the font.
button above the tentacles, save one or 2. Less/no transparency on the button.
Too many tentacles, or too dense, try making them different sizes. It's fairly obvious the bottom is just a jupe of the top.

little bit of the trend whore going on with the scan lines... they could be used more effectively than they are now.
