How do i get a letter to work inside of a key.isDown action?

you mean to find out what key was pressed?

Key.getCode() or Key.getAscii()

OK, so permission granted only if you enter the contest. Do something crappy, I don't care, just enter it. That way we can all write in our résumés we competed against KP once... :cowboy:

That would look nice on a resume :) We don't have to write that we lost to KP, just that we competed :P
