ok so we all know how to make a movie background transparent (wmode=transparent). And, checking around the web, it seems that this trick only works in IE. But i know that there has to be some way to get around this - it's such a big compatiblity issue. Any ideas? What about for making this work on a mac?

In every current browser, not only IE. Netscape is a bit old.
I don't know about safari though,

I'd suggest downloading Mozilla & Opera cause I know it works in Mozilla and I'm sure it will in Opera. Download Firefox too ;)

im just worried about the small percentage of people using netscape that will view my client's site.
i'm also noticing problems when i try to scroll divs using the (overflow-y property). any ideas to solve this?
moreover, anybody have a link to a page that outlines fundamental differences between netscape and IE and a way to fix them?
