I have a table with:
-an image running on the length of the table in it's own cell
-two cells next to each other under neath the image

I want one of the two cells to get bigger but the other one to stay the same size.

Maybe you've worded that wrongly, but to me that doesn't sound possible

that's impossible... what do you want to do with it? Could you use DIVs and CSS?

yah I could I just want it so that if thers to much content in the left cell it get's bigger and the right one stays the same

you could use CSS for this. If that's too much nest another table in the right cell. Align this table to the top of that cell. This way it will simulate your thingie...

I tried putting the table in the cell but it still gets bigger when I add a bunch of text to the right one, to make it get bigger.
