Hey all, Im currently running a two screen system (my laptop 15" and a second flat panel 15" LCD). I would like to add another screen, prob a CRT... I know I can do this with a product called sideCar (check it here (http://www.digitaltigers.com/sidecar.shtml)), but the express verision is $1200 (US)....

Does anyone else run or know of a different way to run a 3+ display setup?

Thanks.

Peace

Its too bad that you'd need a power plant to run all of those monitors...

hmmm... it really looks like there isnt a cheaper way of doing it... sideCar seems like the best, although the 3 screen setup from 9xMedia it a pretty good value considering it comes with the screens.... I dunno :(

@jw06: how are you going to set it up with your PC?

peace

The easiest way to do it with a tower pc is to have two monitors off of the agp graphics card and then run one off of a pci graphics card.

check out synergy ( http://synergy2.sourceforge.net/ ). But you will have to run an extra machine..

I think it's time for your first, very own server. ;)
