http://www.billybussey.com has an amazing background on his page, he's blurred I get that part, but how are all the other components burned, dodged, how do you achieve such background. Everything I do everytime I get a lazy background. Where to find those nice 3d wire-style pictures?
Thnx!

It's blurred w/ an over-exposure technique applied to it, which you can find out how to do that by searching these forums I'm sure since it's been used to death in the battles. But basically you take the same blur and set it to overlay, screen, etc... until you get the desired effect. As for the focal blurs you apply a gradient mask and then blur, it will give that effect.

ok I get that, but how to make those lines in the background that look sharp? They make the image look old or. textured or something... thnx!

Personally I don't like the background of the site, it's too busy and really draws the eye away from the content, it'd look heaps better faded out.

I wrote this post in the time it took to load (second preloader).
