Kirupa!! I think you got me hooked here...

Im currently trying to watch a DVD (Lord of the Rings) on my Playstation2, and i find myself pausing it every 10-15 minutes to refresh the forum and check for new stuff!! :P


I'm just addicted to this... i guess... :crazy:

me too LOB, sometimes it's neccessary to step back and take a break... lest we burn ourselves out.

The addiction aspect is certainly real enough for me. I had something like 20 forum I visited regularly a year ago. I'm now down to two including this one. I just can't get away.

It is cheaper than crack though.. and more enlightening too, I'm sure.

I never post on forums. I was signed up as an affiliate/mod with my best friend pete (can be found at www.bwbmtransformers.com ) over at www.tfgen3.com and I had 12 posts then I just stopped posting. I was just not a forum posting guy. But then I found this and I got addicted.

Ironically enough I started posting over at tfgen3 again the other day and am now up to 30 posts there....haha:)

PS: Sorry for the advertising of 2 sites, but technically i am affiliated with bwbm and bwbm is affiliated with tfgen3....haha so I guess it all works out in fairness.

Well, I'm addicted too, but sometimes I get really pissed off so I have to turn my computer off or I'll just blow out... Especially when people act like you owe them something. I can't stand that.

Actually, I'm posting on 3 forums regularly, this one, bit's forum, and a French one (incredible flashers there. That's where supersatori comes from --if you don't know who I'm talking about, check the contest section).

And concerning the stats, man! You're too far, Lost. I have to watch my back now (Flex and Eilsoe, I'm warning you, it's not going to be easy, hehe).

Hilleroed. Nice place by the way. ****ty weather all summer long but it was freakin' awesome anyway. We were a bunch of kids building a sheep house for a museum, you know, some volunteer work. Great experience.

Well, the good thing about Denmark is that you live 30 min away from anywhere :P --if you live on the Island (can't remember if it's sealand or jutland...)

we have 2 islands (big ones) and a sh*tload of smaller islands.. Jutland is connected to Germany...

You were in the northern part of Sjælland. About 40 minutes by train from Copenhagen...


Actually it takes a full 5 hours by train to cross the longest distance Denmark has to offer...

OK, OK, it's not that small...:P But I really enjoyed my stay there. Copenhagen is quite a wonderful city by the way. something that struck me particularly was the fact that you could rent bycicles for almost nothing. That would be totally impossible in France.

And there a probably the most beautiful girls I've ever seen in my life. :cyclops: Sorry for repeating it, but go to Denmark, and you'll see what I mean.

Yeah, I did design the site by myself =) Of course, a good portion of the content is by the people who post here in the forums (pom, lost, dan, iammontoya, david, and others, etc.) So a good bunch of the credit goes to them as well!

I just do know that I get a lot of things wrong...haha. And if they aren't wrong, they are incredibly un-optimized. But I try to answer with the knowledge I have. I would rather give at least some answer and have someone fix it later then to just leave the post alone and have them get no replies (you know how some posts slip through the cracks and never get answered).

So don't worry, I knew you were just playin:)

Hey lost.. don't let it get to you at all. I'm wrong lots of the time. I've got Pom telling me that I helped him learn Flash and yet he ALWAYS has an improved script for anything I'm trying to do. How frustrating do you think that is? :)

Answer em if you know em or not.. it's the only way to learn. (and luckily no one here puts you down for giving a wrong answer.)

Yeah, I definitely love when someone corrects or optimizes my method. It is a great way to learn. I am horrible with optimizing code, well at least the code I post on the forum. The way I do things for some reason is that I get everything to work, and then I work out a way to optmize it, but for some reason I think I should just start out trying to keep what I am doing optimized.

Ah whatever, I am going to stick with methods that are comfortable to me.
