Of course it's an off brand, 4x, single layer burner, but even still it's only 9 bucks!

dayam! i got mine, a pacific digital cdrw/dvdrw+- for $50. For some reason staples has some crazily low prices.

Got it installed and everything, works perfectly except my older version of nero wouldn't let me burn to it, installed the version on the cd and now it works fine. Haven't tried burning to dvd yet, don't have any disks, but CDs work great.
My only complaint is that it is loud oh well, what can you expect for 9 bucks.

I got a free DVD burner with my dell, but it sucks a fatty. It almost always screwes something up; of the 20 or so DVDs I've tried, it's only finished 2 or 3.
