hey whats up here's something like it, no fancy borders but its functional:

http://chris.crashed.net/slidegallery/photostack.html

create a file called photostack.xml and save it in the directory 'xml', since it is being read by flash like so: loadXML("xml/photostack.xml")

photostack.xml looks like this:

<menu>
<images>

images/pics/pipes.jpg

images/pics/matches.jpg

images/pics/paper2.jpg

... more images here ...

... more images here ...

... more images here ...

... more images here ...

</images>
</menu>

edit the image paths so they match up your own image paths

the photostaker is cool but it has one problem ...it was made for mx only ..and it doesnt work well in mx04......when u run it with more than 6 pics it get slow how can we fix it.. if i may ask?

pucca: i haven't learned asp yet, its probably the same algorithm using php... tell flash to read stuff from a php script after getting image info from a database, take the stuff and parse it and load the images dynamically.

sipher: post#2 is for mx2004, post #6 i saved for mx but it doesn't work because i think it uses AS1.0. i have a p3-500 and it runs fine on that dinosaur, not sure about it running slow
