It's going to be a touch choice that's for darn sure. I think I am going to have to go with Fable. Halo 2 and PoP2 are a close second... but with all the new info on Fable, I just can't wait!

Yah I would agree with your CR12 - After having watched so many videos of it in action, I can't belive what EA has done with the title. And the sence of speed is crazy! This will be a fun game for sure!

With all this love for Halo on this board I kind of thought it would win in a land slide, but I am curious to see who else is looking forward to some of the other games - like the soon to be greatest RPG of all time (excluding all Zelda's of course;)) Fable!!!

I'm sure Fable will be a great game, but I'm not willing to give it a chance (RPG - :td: ).

But wizard, it's an "ACTION" RPG, this means it wont' be dull and boring like most other RPG's *thows on flame suit* ;)

You get to fight, it's got a ton of vulgarity, you can pick good and evil, you can be straight or gay, you can kill anyone you want, you can make friends with anyone you want, you can do ANYTHING! This game is going to be out of this world.

Now don't get me wrong, Halo 2 is going to be awesome too... it's just not the clear winner for game of the year that we all thought it would be. ( I hope! )

IM really looking toward fable and halo2 because i already got doom3 on my pc and its awesome i cant wait for the xbox version, sureshot have you played sudeki its actually pretty good you might like it if your into rpgs and stuff its an action rpg as well and a good one also im gonna get silent hill 4 today so that is also anotehr great game i will be playing :beam:

At first I was like, how are you going to get Silent Hill 4 when it's not out till Sept 7th, then I had a look around and figured it out. I too will be getting Silent Hill 4 today ;) *nudge, nudge*

As for Sudeki, I have it but I haven't played it. It's on my list of to-do's today so I will let you know. It kind of got slammed in the press but that has never stopped me from enjoying a game before :)

There sure is a lot of interest in Burnout 3 that's for sure. Judging by all the positive press surrounding the game also, I think it's going to be one hell of a cash cow for EA. It was rated the game of the month in the latest GPM.

Halo 2 for sure.

I am also pumped for Knights of the Old republic.
(Even thought the first one glitched on me at the very end and I lost all my save-games after dumping 40 hrs into it)
