Hi guys!
Some awesome person posted how to resize a batch of pictures through Fireworks... THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!!!
I have a question:
In about the same way that you resize a whole batch of jpg's,
Is there a way to rename every single jpg in a directory .... progressively?
Like, Image0.jpg, Image1.jpg, Image2.jpg, Image3.jpg ........ ETC
All the jpg names are originally named those weird number codes that
digital camreas give them like 00254.jpg and 54876.jpg
Anyone know how to do that with any program ??
Thanks!!

if your os is windows then what you can do is select all your files and press F2, rename one of the file let's say "joe .jpg" and the rest will be called "joe (1).jpg","joe (2).jpg" etc...
I've never done it but im sure you can use the scripting tools of Windows to do that too...

CompuPic does a good job with this too - http://www.photodex.com/products/compupic/ - it does cost $ (not much) and has a trial version.
Then of course there's irfanview; anyone heard about it? :sigh:
