Laptop screen question...

Hi

I just bought a new laptop computer: LG LS50-5.
The problem is, the screen is pretty bad... Like, even from
the top of the screen to the bottom, the colour changes,
and it doesn't look too good from the side, either.

Aren't all new laptops supposed to have Active Matrix screens
or something?

I'm no expert at this, but I think you have to readjust the colors on your laptop. Your graphics card software should have options (nVidia certainly does).

or something?Not necessarily - you have to make sure your laptop supports the latest screen technology, and there are various Active Matrix types that give different results. If the screen's colors change with your viewing angle, but look good when you look at it head-on, then the problem is with your laptop's screen itself =)
