How about some overall impressions of some of the latest stuff you have seen/listend to/played.
Movie - I,Robot
Awesome movie. The story is not that of a usual summer blockbuster - it requires you to use your brain :) The acting was top notch and Will Smith really showed he can be very versitile and not just a butt kicking, smart talking wise ***. The CG was also just awesome - I couldn't belive how well they portrayed emotions with the robots. Just awesome.
Music - The Roots "The Tipping Point"
A very talented Rap/Hip-Hop group release an awesome new album. This is a great disk and recommend it to anyone with a taste for hip hop. I have listened to the entire album 2wice now on my ride to and from work and plan on listening a few more times :)

It's the millionth time I've probably seen the movie, but Denzel's acting is great. This is one of the best movies I've ever seen.
CD: Pure Moods I
I bought this CD six or seven years ago, but found it again only recently. Some of the music here is really nice and relaxing!
Game I Played: Mechwarrior 4: Black Knight

Movie: Um, actually half of freaky friday. I didn't like it much. People told me it was good... before that, I guess Predator, the first. Want to brush up (er see them at least once ;)) before AVP
Music: I, also, don't really listen to cd's so much. Mostly individual songs. Right now I'm all about Teenage Fanclub - Star Sign. But I just bur--er, bought my friends cds, and I can't wait to get my car back to listen to them in it. She gave me fountains of wayne, eve6, yellowcard, and the moldy peaches.
Game: Ugh, haven't played a game in so long. Oh wait, Zelda, Ocirana for GC on the Master Quest a couple days ago. before that, that Ninja game in flash, I lvoe that thing. It's so hard! I love threads like this!

Game - NFL 2K5
This game just plain rocks. I cannot belive the realism in this game. It has all the presentation look and feel of a real ESPN broadcast right down to a virtual Chris Berman before, at the half and at the end of the game. Not only are the graphics so good that my brother came into the room and asked how come the Bills and Lions were playing so early in the year, but the animation are so spot on and chained together so well it's scary. Also, through out the game all the major plays are saved to the hard drive of your Xbox and then at the half and at the end of the game Chris goes over all the highlights while they play out on your tv. It's like a real broadcast - it's fantastic!
If you like football at all, give this game a shot!

eh... insane clown posse, they're not old, what, like 5 years? there is VERY little music that i absolutely hate, but they are the absolute worst stuff ive heard, lyric-wise and music wise. It saddens me knowing that teenagers in this country actually look up to a band that has the kind of negative messages that they do. Sorry to sound so parental, but I've looked down on ICP since i was in 7th grade.

Game - The Chronicals of Rid**** (xbox)
I BEAT IT!!! I finally took myself away from NFL2K5 long enough to beat this game and it was worth every min. Do yourself a favour and play this game if you have an Xbox you wont belive your eyes. It is hands down the best looking game on the box and any console for that matter. It's a very mature game though, so if you dont like fbombs and some blood - I don't reccomend it. :thumb: from me!
Movie - The Bourne Supremecy
A very good movie. I liked it much more than the first and would reccomend it to anyone who was either a fan of the first or is looking for a great summer popcorn movie. It has a deeper plot than most and some great acting.

Movie - Collateral
A wicked movie. I was very impressed with it and can't wait to see it again. I think Tom Cruise really showed that he is a great actor and can play other roles than that of his regular roles. Jamie Foxx really stood out as well and showed that he is not only a comedic actor, much like he did with Any Given Sunday. Great performances all around. The ending was a little formulatic but that didn't in any way kill the film, for me at least.
Music - Shyne: Godfather Burried Alive
As many of you who follow Rap and Hip Hop know, Shyne was put in jail after the club shooting incident involving Puff and JLo. This album is very well done and if you like Shyne you will really like the new material on this disk. Foxy Brown makes a couple apperences and does a great job as well. If you are a Shyne supporter make sure to grab this disk. It's a good listen if you like gangsta rap.

anyway, for me...
movie:
Connie and Carla. Comes out this tuesday (the 17th). It's really pretty good. Written by the woman that was in My Big Fat Greek Wedding, and starring her also. Has some pretty good laughs I thought. It's about these two women that witness a murder, go to LA to hide, but love doing like, old dancing and singing acts or whatever, they used to work in an airport. And then they pretend to be guys dressed in drag to be able to hide and perfrom. Uh, this isn't a good synopsis or whatever I think. Anyway, David Duchovini(sp?) is in it too, thought that was pretty cool.

-------------------------
Ok, first off, I have only played this game for like an hour so I don't have a huge opinion as to how great it is but I can tell you one thing. It scares the CRAP outta me and I am NOT playing this game by myself at night. Ever. For real... Music - 213: The Hard Way
It's the new disk out from the "super group" Snoop Dogg, Nate Dogg and Warren G. Personally I really love this album but it's been getting a few bad reviews on the web. I think people were just expecting too much. There is a crazy 70's Funk vibe mixed with the early 90's GFunk vibe of Warren G and the DPG. So far there are only like 2 tracks that I skipped over on the whole disk the second time through. It's a great summer cd with some awesome beats, some great lyrics and just a smooth feel to the whole disk. I would reccomend it to anyone that is a fan of this style of hip hop/gangsta rap
