My purpose setting up this inpiration thread has been to help anyone to realise Design has a much greater context than focusing on Flash-oriented work from typical studios or agencies. It's about conceptualising and from ideas, we can create design with social and political meaning. The extensive list below shows none of them are from one designer, but a community of work across different streams of media and fields. This includes Music, Fashion, Art, Film, Product, Architecture, Photography, Graphic/Print, Techology and more. It's about being inspired (not to copy!) so to strengthen your work and the community above all.
"Design is about thinking, drawing and computers later."

Thanks for your reply but they are better suited as a Kool Site. If you see the list of what I have posted, they are visual portals intending to communicate different ideas by various artists. The main aim of my thread was to concentrate on more graphic/illustration work by indivduals and not those from corporate agencies or studios.

well, when I did the version 3 of my site..I submit it there and never get an reply..a year after I submitted v4 and still didnt get any replyes...and a year after I submitted the last version and after 4 months they add me to the gallery.....hard enough? I am not too sure about adding you site to the list. But I think in the long term, I think its good to support new groups. One of the main focuses of my thread was to show work and design not so much of highly anticipated companies or groups, but more of the indivdual designers out there, not so much "famous" but defintely has solid talent. I think that is the focus you should also implement. In the meantime, its good if you can make a name for yourselves and as the road draws further, discuss about the importance of design and share interviews and work of those people close or around you as well as dicussing their talents. Just by mentioning the likes of Toyko Plastic and 2advanced's work isnt so much appealing because we can just basically see what they are going to result. Artists such as Chuck Anderson, Jens Karlsson, Karen Ingram are special, freelancers and is the foundation of what design is all about.

Btw, the site has problems loading on IE and FF for me. Check back to see things are in order because things didnt load for me.

first i would like to say thanks for your feedback...
and second i agree totaly whit what your saying.. but i'm fearly new at the game myself just a starting freelance designer... freelander are indeed the basic of design there the ones who have to search for new things and creative concepts..
as for onEnterSite it's still needs to get shape i know that myself.. the links that are in them now are the ones out of my personal bookmarks...
as for the next update i got more resourses for new designer.. and would love to make a selection for students/young designers designers alsow...

i'll check the pc browser problems (tonight.. mac user here ;) )
